OUR IMPACT FOR THE YEAR 2022
Through the funds raised from our greeting card & handmade gifts sale, violin lessons and your support, we were able to donate well over $5700 to charities that are close to our heart. We were able to support VOA-GNY's Operation Backpack; pay for school uniforms, shoes and books to kids at an orphanage in India; raise over $2100 for VOA-GNY's Holiday drive; purchase gifts for 23 goody bags for the at-risk youth AND STILL managed to send over 550 greeting cards to the non-profit Cardz for Kidz!
We donated $2155 to VOA-GNY's Holiday Drive that fund programs for at-risk youth, which supports individuals (18-21 years) who are aging out of foster care and at risk of becoming homeless. These young adults live in supportive housing complexes supervised by a team of VOA-GNY staff, who are committed to providing case management services to help these young men and women develop the skills needed to prepare to live independently on their own.
We also purchased gifts for one of the programs located at Roselle Park, NJ. There were 23 youths currently residing in this program who all received a goody bag filled with different items such as headphones/Bluetooth speakers, spa/bath gift sets, and gift cards.

We donated school uniforms, shoes, and other school supplies to all of the orphans residing in Amrutha Shishu Nivasa, in Bangalore, India.

Operation Backpack
Our team shrunk in half this year, but it has not slowed us down one bit!! We recently wrapped up our Operation Backpack Fundraiser for Volunteers of America, and exceeded our goal of $1,500. We fundraised almost $2,400!!! We couldn't have done it without your support! Thank you so much!!
